Needs Online Partners with GBFA to Empower Youth at Two-Day Freelancing Bootcamp in Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan

(PR November 23, 2023) Needs Online is proud to have served as the technical partner for the two-day GBFA Freelancing Bootcamp held at KIU Ghizer Campus and Govt Inter College for Girls Taus, Yasin, in the Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.

The event served as a dynamic platform for hundreds of youths to engage with seasoned freelancers, extracting valuable lessons from their experiences and exploring the expansive possibilities within the freelancing industry.

Organized by Gilgit-Baltistan Freelancers Association – GBFA the event was sponsored by the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme – AKRSP Pakistan and Meezan Bank Limited, and with technical support from the National Freelance Training Program, Business Incubation Center KIU, and NEEDS Online, the bootcamp aimed to empower the youth by providing them with valuable insights and practical knowledge.

The event featured a distinguished lineup of accomplished digital entrepreneurs hosting stalls, offering a unique opportunity for young participants to gain insights into the transformation of products and services into successful digital ventures. Beyond skill development, the bootcamp served as a gateway for the youth of Ghizer district to tap into the vast potential of freelancing and digital entrepreneurship.

With a focus on interaction, education, and hands-on experience, the GBFA Freelancing Bootcamp 2023 not only contributed to skill enhancement but also played a pivotal role in fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth in the region.

In notable attendance, key figures included Mr. Ali Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner Punial; Mr. Javed Arif, Area Manager AKRSP; Mr. Uzair Wahid, Assistant Vice President of Products at Meezan Bank; Dr. Shohaib, Campus Director KIU Ghizer; Mr. Mohd Zaman, Principal Government College Ghakuch; Ms. Hussun Ara, Principal Govt Girls College Tauwas Yasin, and other stakeholders. They expressed their gratitude to GBFA for organizing such impactful camps for the youth and conveyed their wishes for similar events in the future.
